A Mercedes ezúttal sem kegyelmezett, a németek fölénye nagyobb, mint tavaly, ami aggasztó. Motorerőben is sikerült előrébb lépniük, amivel senki sem tudja tartani a lépést, és idén a fejlesztések nagyon korlátozottak a koronavírus okozta helyzet miatt.

Lewis Hamilton előtt adott a lehetőség, hogy hétszeres világbajnok legyen, és lehetséges, hogy ebben csak Valtteri Bottas állíthatja meg, aki eddig egy alkalommal sem tudta megszorongatni a brit rekordert, de talán most.
